Cupitt’s Dusty Dog Shiraz was named one of NSW’s #TopWines in the 2014 NSW Wine Awards, which have been running since 1996. 148 of the 828 wines entered were judged to be of Silver or Gold Medal standard and it’s those wines, announced today, which will be on tasting at the second rendition of a world class consumer event “Outstanding on the Pier” on 30 October, Pier 2, Walsh Bay, Sydney.
Judging for this year’s awards took place on 30 September and 1 October in Griffith under the watchful eye of Chair of Judges, acclaimed winemaker, PJ Charteris, his first year in this esteemed position.
The 148 wines selected as #topwines for 2014 were produced by 68 of the State’s best wineries and the line up represents an incredible cross section from NSW’s wine regions.
